This Privacy Policy explains what information Vercotech collects through this website, why, and how it's handled. We've kept it specific to what this site actually does — not boilerplate for tracking we don't use.

1. What we collect

We collect information you choose to give us:

• Contact form: your name, email address, the service you're asking about, and your message.
• Job applications: whatever you include when applying — typically your name, email, and resume, sent via email when you click "Apply."
• Account data: if you sign in (for staff or client dashboard access), we store your username and login activity via WordPress's standard account system.

We don't run analytics, advertising trackers, or third-party marketing cookies on this site.

2. How we use it

We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, evaluate a job application, or provide the service you've asked about. We don't sell your information, and we don't use it for anything beyond what you contacted us for.

3. Cookies

This site uses only the technical cookies WordPress itself needs to keep you logged in if you have an account. We don't set advertising or analytics cookies.

4. How long we keep it

Contact form and job application messages are kept as long as needed to respond to you and, for applicants, for a reasonable period in case a similar role opens up. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see section 6.

5. Sharing

We don't share your personal information with third parties, except where required by law or where a service provider (such as our email or hosting provider) processes it on our behalf to deliver the site and respond to you.

6. Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@vercotech.cc and we'll handle it directly — no portal, no runaround.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the "Last updated" date above.
